Bio:
Shannon K.R. Schneider, PhD, is a distinguished senior executive with more than two decades of experience in medical affairs. She is currently Vice President of Medical Affairs for North America at LEO Pharma, where she leads medical operations for both marketed products and pipeline assets. In 2025, she successfully led U.S. and Canada medical affairs teams through the launch of Anzupgo for chronic hand eczema and the strategic integration of Spevigo, a treatment for generalized pustular psoriasis.
Prior to LEO Pharma, Shannon held medical affairs roles at Sanofi, AbbVie, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Takeda, where she advised on clinical messaging, key opinion leader management, and data dissemination strategies.
A leader in building consensus among global and regional stakeholders, Shannon is known for her strategic focus, operational acumen, and commitment to advancing medical science while keeping the patient at the center of every decision.
Shannon holds a PhD in Infectious Disease from the University of Notre Dame and completed post-doctoral research in the Department of Immunology at the University of Washington.
